Al Schnupp, author of our forthcoming Goods and Effects, grew up Mennonite in Lancaster, PA.  After college, he trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and has been acting, staging, producing and writing plays ever since--and making his own art, too.  He earned his doctorate in theater arts at UCLA, and recently retired from teaching at California Polytechnic State in San Luis Obispo.

Goods and Effects pays subtle tribute to the communities of his youth, and to those who understood, valued, and questioned their ways.
