New Review of Tassone's SMALL BITES

Small Bites: Forty Short Stories by Don Tassone

Don Tassone’s name might sound familiar by now if you’ve been reading this newsletter for a while. But for those of you who don’t know him, Don is a retired P&G exec, but more importantly he’s one of the most influential teachers I’ve ever had. Don opted out of an “lazy” retirement and instead pursued the craft of writing – this is his third book in less than two years. In Small Bites, Don weaves lessons about adversity, companionship, and fulfillment into 40 touching short stories. The stories are divided into three parts: appetizers, entrees, and desserts (hence “small bites”) based on their length and style, which I thought was a cool, innovative idea. Don has put in a hell of a lot of work since he started his journey as a writer, and it shows here.
